康云多维视觉智能科技有限公司成立于2017年6月22日,是一家以三维引擎为核心技术,拥有高门槛微米级别的三维智能建模扫描设备及多屏互动展示的开创性企业。技术着眼于市场上十分薄弱的三维数字化建模环节,通过图像处理、计算机视觉算法,提供基于软件、智能硬件、云计算的互联网三维数字化建模展示平台,大幅降低三维模型建模时间,制作超高精度的三维模型,赋予互联网从2D走向3D的内容升级。

应用计算视觉与人工智能技术,以  20 项自主研发的智能扫描设备(人体、物体、空间、航拍)作为3D数据采集工具,用户扫描之后上传到康云3D渲染服务器就自动生成三维模型,模型可用于生成增强现实、虚拟现实、3D打印、三维交互、线上线下浏览。

核心成员大都来自于英国剑桥/牛津、美国麻省理工/伯克利大学、中国清华/北大的研究院,皆具有较深厚的学术研究背景,同时亦有较强的工程实践能力。目前团队已经拥有数百项领先的图像技术和千亿规模图像大数据计算处理能力。

团队自2014年组建以来,先后在旧金山、多伦多、伦敦、格拉斯哥、赫尔辛基,广州等地设立研发分部,拥有业内最高水准的技术研发能力。康云科技不仅掌握3D视觉和扫描的核心算法,空气成像技术,同时通过自主研发软硬件,申请了美国 USPTO 国际和中国专利  120 余套,累计获得  35 余项全球大奖。

Light & Magic is a blazing fast, embed-anywhere, fully-immersive 3D scanning & visualization platform that can turn 2D content into stunning multi-dimensional, interactive, digitally reconstruct environments for use in web, augmented and virtual reality experiences on and off-screen.

We have crafted hardware/software to create 3D content using “intelligent and automated algorithms" and rendered on ANY browser, ANY device. Our 3D model opens up in split second using our patent-pending, proprietary compression and rendering algorithms in the cloud.

In a nutshell, we provide innovative solutions for “mapping” the world in 3D:

  • Scan 3D objects, capturing textures and color, relieving humans from the laborious work of making 3D models using professional software.
  • Scan & digitise “indoor” and turn any space into 6 DOF Inside-Out Room-Scale navigational scene with enhanced positional tracking, ultra-low-latency and low-jitter rendering pipelines (Inside-out positional tracking lets you roam freely through any virtual environment, while obstacle avoidance helps you avoid objects or walls around you), providing the users a truly immersive and interactive 3D virtual tour.
  • Aerial mapping using drones/UAVs, providing high-resolution, highly accurate DSM/DEM/Orthomosaic and 3D models using air-borne LIDAR and Imaging sensors.

Founded in 2017, with offices in Singapore, London, Toronto, Helsinki, Glasgow, Chengdu, Guangzhou, our team of scientists and engineers have created real time interactive 3D scanning and visualisations for online and offline environments. The company is formed by industry veterans from Picsel, Scalado, TAT, Microsoft, Samsung, Sun Microsystems & Goldman Sachs, backed by a US$25m Pre-A investment round.

With more than 120 patents accumulated, our team has worked on automotive GPUs, Computer Vision, Image Processing, LIDAR, User Interfaces & Animation Technologies, Holographic Volumetric Display.
